First of all, Daylight Savings is such a hard adjustment! This past weekend I was involved in the BYU-Idaho Sacred Music Tour. We played/sang "Bring Forth My Zion" by K. Newell Dayley. On Thursday we performed in Pocatello, Friday here in Rexburg and then Saturday in the Salt Lake Tabernacle. Although I ended up playing my violin over 20 hours within the week, it was an incredible experience. What an amazing opportunity to share our testimonies with others through music. The tabernacle was such an incredible experience and I felt the Spirit so strongly. Wow, what power comes in songs of praise! We got back from Salt Lake around 1:30AM but being Daylight Savings, it was like 2:30! It was a long day yesterday - I was really tired. Today I am feeling the time change.
I can't believe there is only four weeks left in the semester! It feels like we just started. There is so much I have to do up to that point. However, the count down for Hawaii is getting smaller, and I am so stoked! (I did buy a new swimsuit today for the trip!).
The last weeks we have had some snow, however the last few days have been beautiful and Spring Fever has definitely had an outbreak!Sorry this is just random thoughts but life is going well!
Oh here is a funny moment from a few weeks ago. We were playing scum and my hand was ll below the number 9! If you have played scum you can understand how I was pretty much the "scum" the whole game! Here is a picture to prove it !

Valentine's Day
I had an awesome Valentine's Day! First of all, as I left the apartment around 7:45 in the morning, we found our door covered in hearts. In fact the entire apartment complex had hearts all over their doors. (Our guess is the Elder's quorum did it). For our apartment dinner, Andrea made heart shaped, pink dough, pizza. She also made red velvet homemade oreos with cream cheese frosting, and pink punch. It was so cute and so delicious! My awesome sister sent me a card in the mail, and the teacher I work for gave me some books, candy and a card. The biggest surprise was our home teachers brought us flowers. It was such a great Valentine's Day, and I felt so loved all day! Here is one of the pizzas:

Sleeping ... Everywhere!
Is it possible to be so tired, you fall asleep in class and you don't even realize it. This has become my problem! I keep falling asleep in almost every class. I think this is because I leave everyday at 7:30 in the morning and although this isn't early for some, this is pretty early when it is everyday. How can some people go off of 3 to 4 hours of sleep and be as awake as those who sleep 11? I don't understand. I guess this is part of college life!

Life is so Good!!
Wow! It has been such a long time since I have posted (sorry!). I must share three highlights of this week, that made life so great!
1. On Monday, when we had no school, we made banana pancakes and ate them around 1 in the afternoon, while listening to "Banana Pancakes" by Jack Johnson. - Everyone should do that once in their lifetime.
2. I found the best recipe to make easy cinnamon rolls. It was so easy and they taste so good! My roommate and I made them twice in one day. The recipe can be found at this link : http://iowagirleats.com/2011/11/23/8-minute-mini-cinnamon-rolls/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+IowaGirlEats+%28Iowa+Girl+Eats%29
3. This weekend we made a fort in our living room!!! It is so cool, it looks like a giant tent, and yes, we did sleep in it last night!
Over all, life is great! Best of luck to all of you and remember to live life to the 9's!

Halloween !!!
This year, Halloween was so much fun. My roommates and I dressed up as the characters from CLUE. I was Mrs. Peacock. We had a Murders Mystery Dinner a few weeks ago with some friends. It was so much fun. I highly recommend having one! I also made the famous Peanut Butter finger cookies - so much fun!
Halloween Novels
The last two weeks for my children's literature class we read two "Halloween" novels. The first, "Witch of Blackbird Pond."by Elizabeth George Speare and the second, "Westing Game"by Ellen Haskin. Both excellent novels. Witch of Blackbird Pond takes place during the witch trials in the early colonial time period. The Westing Game is a murder mystery, with excellent twists. Both are great novels.
I just discovered Pinterest, it is so cool. You create boards that you are interested in and then pin photos you find on them. It is so cool.

MoDgE pOdGe
Over the summer I discovered modge podge. I did a few crafts with it. I hope to do more of the quote frames. Here are some pictures, (the quote frame, and 1500 piece puzzle). The puzzle is a picture that reminds me of my dear sweet Great Grandma Beth, who passed away almost a year ago. She introduced me to Shakespeare, and this painting hung in her kitchen. At the cabin, my aunts and cousins helped me put it together.
